Holy City Swing provides a safe and fun environment every Friday Night downtown to learn partnered swing dancing. Come in solo, or with a partner or group and you can leave with dozens of new friends and a fun new skill to break out at parties and weddings! We rotate partners in these lessons so everyone has a chance to learn and meet some new friends, whether they came solo or with friends.

Our drop in beginner lessons are designed for people who have never danced before. From your first steps through our lesson, we'll teach you to move and groove to the point that all of your friends will be jealous of your cool, new moves! You don't even need a partner to come to our lessons, and the drop in beginner lesson is included in the $10 entry price!

Parking Info - We reserve the Bank of South Carolina parking lot at the corner of Wentworth and Meeting St. You do not have to pay for parking there on our dance nights and there are about a dozen spots plus you can park in the tunnel. Besides this lot you will have to search for street parking or a parking garage.

Taken some swing classes before and not sure about talking this one? We'll be teaching six count, 8 count, swingouts, partnered Charleston, and more in these series! We'll be starting with basics each session, so if you haven't danced before this class is for you too! Additionally, you can take this class 3-4 times and learn new material every time!

No partner required to sign up! Pre-registration is required. We don't offer refunds, but you can defer to the next session of classes. Check below to see when the next session begins.
